The Northview High School Library, located on the quad, offers a window to the world. With a large collection of print sources and up-to-date technology, the library can provide both students and staff with the opportunity to conduct extensive research.

Our print collection has specifically been selected to support the curriculum and to provide leisure reading for a wide range of interests and reading abilities. In addition to books, the library subscribes to both the Los Angeles Times and the San Gabriel Valley Tribune, as well as to many magazines.

The internet may be accessed from all 36 iMacs. ProQuest, a subscription database of both newspapers and magazines, can be used to search for information on virtually any subject. In addition, several database including Encyclopedia Americana, SIRS Researcher, SIRS Discoverer and others are available through the library server. The card catalog, which contains library holdings from both Covina High School and South Hills High School as well as Northview High School, is automated and offers students the opportunity to borrow books from any of the high schools in the district.
