SAILING TO SUCCESS

Thank you to all our Las Palmas and Northview families who attended our Sailing to Success college information night!

L.A. County Fair honored our own Community Hero!  Coach David Ochoa was celebrated for making our city "a better place to live"!

"Ochoa is involved in Northview High School’s football and wrestling programs, wrestling boosters, the California Coaches Association among other organizations.

"He took over a losing wrestling team, developed his wrestlers quickly into CIF runner ups and champions within two years. Ochoa didn’t just teach the team wrestling skills, he taught them life skills to help get them into college and lead successful lives. He also expanded wrestling opportunities to girls at Northview, resulting in CIF girls wrestling winners in 2012, 2013 and 2014."

Congratulations to two outstanding seniors!!

Michelle Diaz and Danielle Torres have been recognized by the College Board as 2014-15 National Hispanic Recognition Program award recipients!  They will be receiving a prestigious certificate of recognition for scoring at or above the qualifying level for our region!  We are so proud of them!
